This came up in a thread in SD&D (we were slightly off topic....). The idea is to update the Dark Eldar codex for fourth edition rules, expanding it as we see fit.

This is meant purely as and update, so we aren't going to re-print any official rules (copyright laws), only the new units that we make up and whatever changes we make to the existing units.

Primary Goals:

1. Update existing Dark Eldar units for use with the fourth edition games system.

2. Create new unites, weapon and wargear for the Dark Eldar, including a new troops choice.

3. Organise new rules into PDF format.

Secondary Goals:

1. Write tacticas for the new units.

2. If possible, produce new artwork to include in the codex update.

3. Distribute update on fan-forums and the Games workshop forum.

I need people who are very familiar with the Dark Eldar codex to help me work all this out. I have a copy of the codex, but I am in no way fit to write it all by myself... it would also be really great if we could get a couple of people who know how to draw to make some artwork to go along with the new rules. I know there are a few people here that are really good at that, so if you are and you have some time it would be great if you could draw some Dark Eldar stuff (particularly for whatever new units we come up with).
