Default Home-made Transfer sheet

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any way to make a home-made transfer sheet?

This tutorial from Bell of Lost Souls ought to be what you're looking for.

I did this exactly with a kit from testors. It worked great. If the model you are applying this to is not white, I recommend using the paper with the white backing. All the colours, that your printer prints are usually viewed with a white background. If you try to print grey onto the clear backed paper, you get little black dots on a clear film. You need white background to make almost every colour. I cut out the rough shape of the decal, and stuck it on. After it dried, I carefully painted the colour of the model around the edges, over top of the white backing. Remember that the decals will be thicker than normal factory ones, so putting a layer of clear varnish underneath, and on top of the decal is critical.

Hope that helps

You place it in water for around 30 seconds, get some tweezers and place it on the model, I'd imagine.
I personally have only ever been able to apply one transfer in my whole hobbying career. Shows how good I am. :P
