Default Grey stuff and brown stuff

Well... Search has been disabled, and as an avid user of Gale Force 9 modelling acessories, I have often come across 'grey stuff'. Looking through Reaper's modelling supplies, I have found grey stuff and brown stuff. Then on BoLS they mentioned it briefly, and something caught my attention. It was stated that grey stuff is better than green stuff, and though I have heard that before, I have a lot more faith in the people at BoLS than the guy trying to sell me stuff.

The problem is I really don't actually know what grey stuff is. Could someone please explain to me the difference between these 2 products and greenstuff?

IIRC they have different curing times and when dry have different strengths.

Diffrent drying times, stiffness when working with it, smoothness when sanded....those pretty much are the diffrences. Taiyama(sp?0 sells their grey stuff as fine detail epoxy for filling cracks and the like. Very soft, can be smoothed to the point where I got a shine on it and is very flexable.

Brown stuff i find is better for hard edges and mechanical items, and it sets more ridgid.

Grey stuff is called Procreate and as Spiritbw says - smoothes nicely.

You can get both from here -
I buy from here, pretty good

I'm american, that's why I use gale force 9, it's all really high quality. That being said, I think I will try using grey stuff, because if it smoothes easier than green stuff, I'll love it. That being said, does it interact with tools differently? Like... does it stick to them more or less?

Sticks about the same, though I find the greystuff comes off easier. Dunnow, just doesn't ahve the habit of pulling out like bubblegum.
