Default FW Broadside pose

I'd be very appreciative if a few folks would take a look at these pics of the pose I placed my broadside in.

I puttied the pieces in place so that I could take the picture (that's the goop in the joints) so they are not perm.

thanks,

Piet

It's nice. Though it looks a little like he's succumbing to recoil from those railguns. Very well done, none the less.

I believe thats the point, although, mistake me if I am wrong, railguns have no recoil because they are powered by magnetism. Which I believe is what you were getting at.

I was told that they did, in fact, have recoil. Which is it? ???

Also, question about the broadside kit: is it possible to mount the SMS on the arms and railguns on the back like a GW broadside?

However Tau Railguns actually work, they would appear to have recoil.

I like that pose. Are you going to try to bend the ammo feeds, or do they connect okay with that spacing?

Not without a good deal of converting. I was planning on trying to do that, like the broadsides on Dawn of War. But it ended up being more chopping than I was ready to commit to.

I haven't tested the ammo feeds yet, but I'm sure I'll have to bend them in place a little.

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't mean to imply that there is no recoil from a Tau railgun. After all, it's a fictional piece of weaponry from a fictional alien race from a fictional universe. Who knows how it's physics work. I just meant that the suit seems to be in the early phases of falling over backwards from the force of the railguns. But, if I recall correctly, the broadside has an advanced stabilization system in order to prevent each volley from knocking the suit off it's feet.

As comical as that would be to see.

"Broadsides...FIRE!!!" loud crash as all three suits in the unit flat on their backs.
"Unit, stand up and prepare to fire again!"

I suppose thats true, it is fiction. It probably is for the best as railguns also make no noise in the process of actually firing, so that would be boring wouldn't it? :

I think its a good pose. The leg up always works well, although one of my deathrain suits is kneeling down. That was a pain...
