One of the tables corrupted (specifically the one that holds all the information about the members (log in details, user names etc).

95% of the members are back and I'm currently downloading the latest backup to get the rest of the members that registered since last week.

Bums! ??? :-XI only registered about 3 days ago.... anyone help? I want to keep my frisbeeforlunch account rather than starting a new one... P.S I'm in england so I dont know how many days it is for your forum time- but it was only 3 or 4

Just start a new one on any account name and change the displayed name to Frisbeeforlunch.

Don't know exactly what happened, so if the display name is taken an admin could change it so you'll be able to use it.

Okay, heres what just happened

Attempted to register:
"FrisbeeForLunch"
"*my email adress*"
"*Password*"
"Securuty questions, codes, and term of use etc."
Clicked "register"
And error has accured. If you keep getting this report to an admin.

Tried with a different user just in case.

Attempt #2:
"FrisbeeIsBack"
"*same email, password, awnsered all questions right, agreed to terms"*
"That username has already been taken."

Oh and in this post it wont let me use the name FrisbeeForLunch - it says it is reserved/taken

Shall I just register with a new name, new email, new password etc. I dont want to but it might be simplest

I know it'll be a pain, but you'll have to wait until FT get his Ninja Scorps out of the system. :P Running and maintaining a website is no easy thing.

ok. just someone said they would be using the latest backups (from last week apparently). which i probabally wont be on. But well see....I've got an essay to write anyway. And a case study :

Riiight.. I found activation emails in my inbox (three identical ones). I used the first one and now haev this new account. I'll leave it alone for now - if its possible, mr. admin, i dunno, merge them or whatever. If not, I only did about 60 posts so it's not a massive loss

You'll need to contact FT, aka Mutant Hunter, he's the Admin/Moderator who's dealing with this problem.

I seem to be having similar problems, I only registered a couple of days ago. Tried re-registering only to get a database error, first time with the same user name and email, then with a different user name where it complained about the email already being in use, changed the email address and got the database error again.
