Default Substitutes For Games Workshop Products.

I have found things that you can use as substitutes for Games Workshop products and save a lot of money. Here is a list of things you can use as sustitutes:

1. PVA glue: Elmers glue.
2. Sand: Beach or playground sand.
3. Static Grass: Real Grass.
4. Portable Paint Station: A desk or workbench.
5. Games Workshop suitcase: Plastic case with different slots.

You can think of more substitutes if you use your mind. :

This is the only one I don't agree with. Real grass goes brown.

I'm actually contemplating buying their sand too. It's very cosmetically pleasing.

Isn't elmers glue PVA anyway?

My mum works in a school, so I can get big 5 litre bottles of it. Never run out.

GW Tape Measures: Cheaper Tape Measures
GW Dice: Cheaper Dice
GW Side Cutters: Off brand side cutters.

Seriously about every hobby tool gw makes, you can probably find it cheaper somewhere else.

well my friend has been working on making his guard army an xeno fighter ork force so instead of buying more expensive 40k orks we use lord of the rings orks. Also senery like using dominoes as walls.

A cheap substitute for the GW case is a toolbox pack with toilet paper! Hell if you're REALLY cheap, you can use shoe-boxes!
