Default Arena of Death poll

This is mainly a poll to see whether I should do either a Squad Arena or a Kill Team Arena in addition to the Lightweight, Heavyweight, Super Heavyweight and Psyker Arenas.

Original Arena topic:
http://forums.tauonline.org/index.php?topic=5050.0

Arena recruitment topic:
http://forums.tauonline.org/index.php?topic=11069.0

Please read the rules of both Arenas that the question refers to before voting. They are here.

Kill team is not designed to be tournament competitive at all. Thats all about hvaing fun with small fast narrative based missions. If you are going to enter a tournament, then you'll need to take a style which I don't think is well reflected in Kill-team.

Yes, but this is pitting Kill Team against Kill Team, thereby evening out a few of the unfair advantages. Essentially, I just want the Squad Arena to be more characterful rather than faceless grunts plus a special/heavy weapon and a character (Necrons are perfectly fine as faceless though), which Kill Teams portray well.

This could be tricky, you need to take into account points given to the opposite side for breaches of im/mutable laws etc...

Well that could be worked around pretty easily... just say each side may brake a single mutable law. No more, no less. If you choose not to, that's your decision.

I've set the limit at 3, it allows a bit of customising but not enough for people to make unfair Teams. How about if each Mutable Law that you break reduces your pts available by 10? That way it only relies on your team, rather than a value that you don't even know and is extremely hard to predict (if you really want to waste your time studying each individual molecular movement involved in the dice roll to determine who faces off against who and then take into account the times that you enter your entry and that I roll the dice...). This would restrict people that use all of their Mutable Laws and give more options for those that don't to buy more men or wargear.

Good, I've added that in.

By the way, could everyone who voted and who though that the Kill Team Arena was Kill teams vs Brutes post here if you're going to change your vote (and tell me which you're voting for now).

usaully my kill team consists of three veterns with power weapons. of course this breaks lots of rules and i dont think it would be fair to bring this kill team or any other to a ternement. i mean a grey knight kill team could slaughter any imperial guard kill team.

Not if they take several groups of 3 Hardened Veterans with Carapace and Plasma Guns...say bye bye Grey Knights.

Now, there are some really unfair Kill Teams out there compared to your one of 3 Power Weapon Veterans. Remember that this is Kill Team vs Kill Team, so both players get all the advantages of their opponent, instead of standard Kill Team where there's little to no way the Kill Team can lose.
