Default Cheapest Prices

What website sells WH40k stuff the cheapest? My birthday is coming up and I should be getting a couple hunded US$, but I don't want to waste it all on the ridiculous retail prices. What website, besides e-Bay, sells models for the cheapest prices?

Ebay can only just barely edge out GW itself, when you consider shipping costs. Plus there is then waiting time and the fact that you might not win the auction...

Seek out a deal with old players who may be willing to sell off their old armies. That'll get you the best deal, but is also the hardest to find.

I heard there were websites that give like a 10% or 20% discount off of the total, and trash shipping if you spend over $100 or something like that. I just don't know what they are called.

Our gaming club gets a 15% discount when we order stuff... and my local hobby shop has some surplus boxed sets at the old prices (eg: 15 for an 18 boxed set).

It is called warhammerdirect.com. DON"T USE IT! I placed an order in May. In July they said they would ship it as soon as their computers were working. This after me repeatedly emailing them for almost two months and finally threatening to cancel the order. Still nothing, so two weeks after that, I placed the order in dispute with the credit card company, got my money back. Then they emailed me again saying my order would be shipping in the next couple of weeks... I told them what they could do with their order.

Don't waste your time.

So it's a scam site? Is there any other online store? I would use my local hobby shop and their 10% off deal, but they trashed it and replaced it with a $10 gift card whenever you spend $100. Yeah, what a savings. >

Isn't $10 free for every $100 spent the same as 10% off?

I've purchased many things from the War Store and I've had good experiences each time. It's 20% off, plus another 5% if your order passes some threshold.

Yes, but you usually have to spend the hundred first.
Solution: buy in bulk with mates to still get that 10% deal.
