Default Themed armies

What are some crazy themed armies you have seen or made.
My example is a skaven army. Half of the models are in the water, either climbing out or surfing, and the other half are chef's with those crazy cooking hat's and holding plates and stuff.
(By the way I know that's not 40k but it's the best one I saw.)

Not again, some things should just be banned.

There's themed armies, where a strong sense of the narrativecan be found in alomst every model, and then there's those armies which really are just plain silly.

Can we try to stick with the themed ones please, and leave the silly ones alone?

An all-gretchin Ork army... that, my friends, is scary.

I have an Imperial Guard army that serves Khorne, although the colour scheme hints at it, it's really one of my priests that has a Khorne symbol across his chest that gives my opponents the real idea... Then there are those axe-wielding conscripts (they have both a lasgun and an axe, which is why they have such a low BS)... Oh, did I mention that a couple of heavy teams have khorne symbols on their weapon mounts?

Communist themed Spacemarines. Thats me! My IG army is Confederate. The Regimental Banner is a confederate Navy jack. I don't really theme the army, because they are Valhallans, but if youve played Starcraft, you see the use of a confederate flag to make it cool...

One guy around here has a guard army with conscripts in early 19th century striped jail uniforms. He also had world war 2 platoons and weapons. That's the most unique thing i've seen.

See, I think that the uber-silly armies serve a very important public service. They allow us to seperate out the people who take 40K way too seriously (one ones that scoff) from the people who take 40K the way it should be taken (they laugh).

40K is a beer and pretzles game. You should be able to laugh your head off about it. ;D

Don't tell me that you fell for the MTV lie?
The MTV lie is that people who rebel against tradition are thnking for themselves, while those who follow tradition are just sheep who do not think.
It is, of course, completely untrue. The decision to follow tradition is just as much an exercize of free will as is the decision to depart from it.
