Post Walker usage

What do you think you favorite walker (or other thing close to it) is?
If you could have it in your army, would you?

Techinly a broadside isn't a walker, its a unit.

I would have gone with a Grey knight venerable dreadnought but their isn't one, A nemisis doomfist, a selection of weaponry and the fortitude meaning I can shrug off shaken and stunned! I actually bought one on saturady and I've given it an assault cannon.

Well if we are including others I gotta go for my always faithful broadsides. Staying power (especially with shield drones) range, fire power gotta love em, especially against most walkers, just eat them alive.

With the open based question on this thread you could go two ways really. Base your choice on either the LCF (look cool factor) of the mini or the actual gameplay effectiveness.

The sleek design of the Eldar War Walker, even the Forgeworld Wasp is pretty badass in my opinon. Even the old Armageddon Pattern Sentinel for IG looks great running along as a scout unit to a full MEQ Steel Legion Army. Mind you the SM Dreadnought does look like a very obiece stub leg walker that waddles at you.... The LCF is always based on the wargamer and which army they play.

On a gameplay effectiveness choice even the new GK Dreadknight is up there, being fully kitted out the damage it produces does make me vomit in my mouth a little, but ill have to agree with Arti a full unit of kitted out broadsides cannot be beat...every player wants the railgun.

Yes, broadsides are extrmely dangeorus right up until the point when a squad of SM terminators deep stikes right behind them.

although when that DOESN'T happen Broadsides are the best heavy unit/anit-tank unit around (Obliviators come in second)
