Exclamation Greatshaper2's Grey knights project

Hi all, my grey knights in power armour arrived today and I've been putting them all together and I'm quite porud of them.
After trying to convert with green stuff i decided not to go for warped Grey knights because i can't convert! anyway, during this project i will give you the latest updates of my Grey knight squad and any others that follow...

Helberd knight 1 with daemon head!

My only sword guy, he's alright

Second helberd guy

This one has the big gun!

the Justicar, he has a thunder hammer and I'm pleased how he turned out.

The entire ruddy squad!

(they are still unpainted so don't get too excited)

For those of you who don't know grey knights are more 'indiviual' warriors because they come in such small armies, and I have to think of a name for each one so if you want me to name one after you let me know. I'm going to make these guys a sucessor chapter to the grey knights (yes, grey knights can have sucessor chapters) and they were created to be able to match and beat khornate daemons in combat, but thats only part of the fluff I still have to do: chapter traits, homeworld, fortress-monestery, chapter master etc etc.

Antisocialnerd, maddosammo and articulategrunt i will be expecting your expert opinions on these guys.

Next to come: paint scheme plan

They look beautifully assembled though I would personally clean up the ends of the barrels on the arm mounted guns and drill barrel holes as with models such as these there is plenty of space to do so and it would drastically improve their look I believe. Aside from that what kind of input are you looking for? Latin sounding names? Load-out opinions? What would you like?

Oh and the head to weapons angle orientation if very nice. To many players just slap the heads in there without orienting to where their weapon angle is facing for combat.

I would not worry about converting just yet. Get your army going first. As you build army you build up a technique on how to build them, then try some conversion after you have a playable army.

just my two coppers worth

Hi connor, not sure if I'll get a dreadknight, I don't like them that much.

They are expensive but well worth it. From playing against them, I like that That they ( DK ) have wounds instead of armor value. The only problem is they need to be properly equipped. Either set him up for CC or shooty. I think they are well worth the points on the board, they are expensive models.

Well my daemon prince managed to kill one and 5 grey knights without too much trouble, the only annoying thing was the heavy psycannon.
