Default Invulnerable save & Feel No Pain w/ instant death shots

Hey a quick i'm sure easy question for some. If I have a unit that has invulnerable saves and Feel No Pain and it gets hit with something like a lascannon that deals damage that would do double damage and instant death it, and I lost the invulnerable save dice roll, would the wounds cause instant death or would it only count as a single wound and be able to use Feel No Pain with the invulnerable armor?

Invulnerable saves have zero effect on feel no pain.

"This ability cannot be used against wounds from weapons that inflict instant death" - Universal Special Rules, Feel No Pain, p 75.

Rulebooks are useful.

Feel No Pain cannot be used against attacks that cause Instant Death, attacks that ignore Armour Saves, or attacks with AP 1 or 2.

So, if a Lascannon hits you, you cannot use FNP because A) it is AP 2, and B) against units with T4 or less it causes Instant Death.

The same sort of thing applies with Eternal Warrior as well. It only lets you ignore the effects of instant death, but attacks that would normally cause instant death will still remove feel no pain.

For example: If a Plague Bearer of Nurgle is hit with an attack double it's toughness, it still wont get Feel no pain, regardless of eternal warrior.
