Default Force Organization for High Points

In high point games such as 2500, what is the Force Organization chart? I don't have a rulebook.

There isn't one, you might be able to fit 2500 into a standard chart. If not talk to the people you'll be playing against and see if they can agree to use 2.

I think in games of >2000 points you are allowed to use multiple FOC. You don't have to ask to use a 2nd one in those points of games.

I'm pretty sure you do. But since I don't know of any official tournaments or anything that go that big I think they leave it up to the players to decide how they want to do it.

I'm not sure. I'd think anything over a certain size it would be allowable, after all there is only so large you can go. Still, best to ask your mates if all else fails.

For every 2000 points in your army i beleive is an extra FoC +1 (the original) you can use.
So a 4000 point army can have 3 whereas 3000pts can only have 2.

Not sure but thats how my club plays it and so do many others (most have said its how you do it officially)

Doesn't anyone here own the rulebook, or read it?

Page 78:

Above a total of 2500 points, the force orgnaizational chart deliberately becomes a real limiting factor. The chart allows you to build the minimum sized force that can reasonably be expected to complete a mission. On a larger scale, an army army will consist of many such detachments, each performing seperate missions. If you want to play an especially large game, then, as well on agreeing a points limit, you should also agree a maximum number of detachments. Each will be a seperate army, using it's own force organizational chart.

Don't tell me that you fell for the MTV lie?
The MTV lie is that people who rebel against tradition are thnking for themselves, while those who follow tradition are just sheep who do not think.
It is, of course, completely untrue. The decision to follow tradition is just as much an exercize of free will as is the decision to depart from it.

I own dozens and dozens of rulebooks... none of which are the BGB, and nor do I read it, because it's crap.

Wargamer, that was off topic and not at all helpful.
