Default The old problem... Unimited choices, limited resources!

Well I have come to a point that I have 2 complete armies, khorne/ tzeench chaos daemons, and a quarter of the entire deathwing and ravenwing elements of dark angels space marines. I've dabbled in tau (actually my first army).

Now I'm feeling that itch... You know, one more army...
For me it's a toss up between a classic saim hann army list, mechanized IG, or a kantor/ khan vanilla sm list.

The one thing I like in my armies I play is combat flexibility in deployments.
The initial deepstriking of my two current armies suits me perfectly
the one thing I miss from my deathwing is to be able to play small games effectively (500-1000 point games).
So what are some opinions?

I would say to go with the eldar, mainly because they are different than your other two listed armies. I personally wouldn't enjoy having two armies that play the same way (which is why I have tau, orks and chaos marines)

Saim-Hann is a pretty hefty investment, Guardian Jetbikes are really expensive. $15 USD... for one.

That being said, Saim-Hann are all about the mobility so given your statement about

Not so much deployment, but, well, everywhere else

Khorne and Tzeentch Daemons are kinda squishy actually... When you get higher up the FoC they lose their squish but, sure, but Bloodletters and Horrors are darn squishy.

In regards to money, there are some fantastic eldar mech/speed boxes out their. EG: the saim-hann jetbike box with 1-3 vyper (can't remember) and a truck load of jetbikes (plus autarch)

I'd agree with the Eldar for something diffrent, though second up would be the imperial guard mechanized army.

You might try looking around and finding out if there is going to be a local bitz swap in your area. Sometimes both teh GW stores and independant run events organize these to let people swap bitz and whole armies about. Some will do straght up cash deals as well and you can sometimes get some good deals.
