Default Allies

I've been looking through both my space marine codex and the rulebook, but I cannot fint anything about how the
Allies rule works. Has it slipped my vision, or is it written elsewhere?
Can anyone help out?

i believe the rules for allies can be found in the Witchhunters, Daemonhunters, and Kroot mercenaries codices.

Eddie:

When an army can take allies, or be taken as an ally, the rules will be found in the codex. For example, the space marines can take allies from a select few - you may take WH/DH as allies to a space marine army, and you will find the rules for this those respective codices.

The Kroot codex is different from other codices as there are some limitations and special rules in their allyships, so don't base it off of the Kroot codex (which can be found on GW's Chapter Approved website, as a PDF download: Quick Link).

Now, if you could tell us more specifically which armies you're thinking of allying, we could help more, because not all armies can make allies. Necrons and Tyranids come to mind. Some armies can though, and those rules are in the codices themselves when it's possible.

Cheers!

Allies are a topic that comes up regulalry.
Three ways to do this really.
1) If allies for this army are specifically mentioned in the codex, eg, Inquisitorial armies.
2) Taking a second force organisation chart of a second army, that would work alongside each other in background, for example, marines and guard. Perhaps Eldar and Imperials, perhaps Tau and imperials. It can depend on the threat they face, in some cases it's in everyones best interests to work together to killl that hive fleet.
3) play multiplayer games, there will be some alliances that form and dissolve, but its fun.

To emphasize on 3) from Hunter's list. I find Multiplayer games a lot more fun then your standard 1v1 cleanse mission.

Well then what was the fricking point in posting in this topic?
Stop spamming, Kyle.

Ahem, and this post itself relates to the topic how?
A post to respond to spam is as bad as spam itself. - H
