Default Popping the top on a can of worms about the "Goes Last" rule.

I am playing Dark Angels Deathwing and I noticed that as all my guys go last (pretty much) and they are using Power Fists and Chain Fists. I can see these ignoring the armor bonuses afforded theenemy and crushing or cutting through to give "No Armor Saves". But i do feel that because of the speed of the weapon, 2 or 3 attacks in a round is not appropriate. If a weapon "Goes Last" (basically because it is slow to wield) then it should only be able to attack one enemy per round.

As compensation I can see the attacker choosing which models he latches onto and thus kills. Lending attacks to the front row fighters still makes sense to me as there is still shuffling going around and in the "dance of war" you change partners constantly.

This is just mt thoughts on it, but what do you think?

If you are going to get technical, their first attack should be at initiative speed (as they have the weapon ready to assault as they charge in) However for subsequent attacks, they have to in effect, "Reset" the weapon, which is more complicated.

It's not a case of everybody does all their attacks, one at a time, and then waits for the oppnent to have a go.
Again, there's a whole heap of abstraction going on, and so far as I can tell its a way for representing the fact that these weapons take time to do damage. <grab, servos whine, eldar guardian starts to scream, and then head crumples> its not a case of these weapons are cumbersome and make it hard to hit the foe, that would be represented by a lowering of the WS (perhaps that would be better?).

It's abstract, but it seems to work.
