Just a spotcheck on how many warhammer female players, active, competitive and joins tourneys in your GW community (LGS).

Ours is none. nada. zit. zero.

However in our MTG community things are picking up well as for femme representation.
I've also seen some in the local AD&D group.

I know two female WHFB players, but no 40K player. I know two female Roleplaying Gamers (both in the group I GM ), and I know of the existence of a RPG-group consisting entirely of people of the female persuasion.

so, they're out there, folks...

Cheers,
-Bone

At my local we have a lady who hasn't always been a lady, there's also a family (two male two female) who all game, one of the guys - his girlfriend paints (very well I might add), not sure if she plays, and my girlfriend's starting.

We have 3 regulars at our store...all are with their significant others. Only one really seems to play, though. The other two just paint (though one of them is supposedly building an army).

The daughter of one of the red-shirts at my local GW has a nurgle CSM army. But other than her that's about it.

My girlfriend plays occassionally, using my models.

And there was a girl at the semi-finals here, played Sisters of Battle.
