Why do you play Warhammer 40K? I play because i love the modeling aspects of it. I love the painting, assemblying and converting.

I play Warhammer mainly because the game is just so much damn fun, not to forget the modeling, painting (not so much

) and the models themselves. Pretty much everything about 40k is appealing, except the price of an arm and a leg...

I like how you build an army from scratch and after hours of list building, modeling and painting, you have a force ready to battle under your command that was created by you. and the actual game is just so fun!

Also I love to put stuff togeather. I used to be a lego fanatic you see... and I love conversions.
I suck *ss at painting, but hey, it's fun...

I like the whole point of controlling an army in the future.

I enjoy the process of army building- glueing, painting, posing and converting each trooper one at a time. Slowly the army builds, and it is your heart and soul in little expensive plastic miniatures. Beyond the modelling, I love the gothic fantasy universe and the whole background side of the game- i never get tired of reading it. The actual game has its flaws, but its still a damn fine way to have fun, have a laugh with friends and waste a few hours of your life in pointless dice rolling.
