Default Forgeworld shipping times?

Hey guys!

I've been asked straight out by my mother what I would like for christmas. I don't want to tell her what I want (which is paintball stuff, buy she can't afford it) so I am researching Imperial Armour one, and if it over her limit (Which I have set, not her) than I'll pay half. I was just wondering how long forgeworld takes to ship to the North America.

I have calculated the forgeworlds cost, which comes to $88.40 CDN. A bit pricey. So, I am looking through ebay. However, the way things are going, I would rather go for forgeworld (more reliable.) and would just like to know if it would get here sometime in december, if ordered this week?

Thanks for your time,
Gecko

My forgeworld orders usually arrive in 2 weeks. One order took a little longer and one was quicker, but the average is around 2 weeks.

On 40kradio last night I heard something about shipping times for Xmas and supposedly you have to order by 1 Dec if you want on time.

From FW's Website

Christmas Ordering

The holiday season is now fast approaching and if you are buying items as Christmas presents we strongly recommend that your order is placed before the end of November. This is particularly the case if you are overseas or after a large model such as a Titan, Super Heavy Tank etc, in order to avoid delays and potential disappointment.
However, sometimes the Oakville bunker has FW stuff in stock, so if you (or in this case, your mother) call them up beforehand they might just have what you want in stock and the whole shipping thing may be a non issue. I know when I got my copy of IA Volume 1, I just called them up in advance and there was a guy waiting for me when I got there. Of course, this is only possible if your folks are close enough to be able to take a ride out to the bunker.

In either case, getting it taken care of by the end of the month is probably a good idea.

I think he literally means Imperial Armor, as in, the first one. :

Otherwise... I'd be right there with you.

It depends. I'm in Ottawa and when I ordered from Forge World, it was as fst as 2-3 weeks to about 6 weeks.

I guess it depends on what you order (whether they need to cast it or not) and the time of the year/how much demand they have)
