Default How Long Does GW Shipping Take For You?

Hey! Just wondering how long it takes for you guys to receive GW shipments, as the few I've placed over the last year have taken longer than I would have expected, at least from a distribution center so geographically close.

Most shipments I got were from Tennessee (shipping to Connecticut), and took 2-3 weeks. I would have predicted much more readily the 1-2 week option, if that. I usually have pretty decent postal service within the eastern half of the continental US, even from eastern Canada. GW, however, seems to take longer than the myraid companies selling trinkets I buy off the internet when the fancy takes me (belt buckles, military/paintball gear, clothing, etc.)

Just tell us a little about the situation of your location in approximation to a GW distribution center, and many other words ending in -tion.

by check it seems to be on average 2-4 weeks for me on the west coast. Mind you it could take a week to process everything, then shipping time at that.

However it is unfair to compare them to other companies with different standards in their distribution routes. Some companies can respond within days, to a week, but due to a sheer volume of orders GW still has to process, box, process, ship and their timing seems to be on par with most order laden companies if not better still.

I guess it depends who else you're ordering from.

My hunting and fishing gear from Cabela's sometimes will come out of Nebraska.

Rarely do I wait over 5 business days on standard shipping, especially if I order in the morning of, say, a Monday.

I have had worse than GW, but unfortunately, many better.

My shipments also come from Tenessee (I actually made a "pit stop" at their Memphis Battle Bunker during a work-related trip :P), and are sent to the heart o' Texas! I get them in around 7 days, give or take. The first time I ordered it took nearly two weeks but that was because there was complication with FedEx, who couldn't find the home. However, Games Workshop had done perfectly well on their end of the bargain, handing it over to FedEx to do with it as they pleased within a day or so. :P

I'm in Western Australia and Games Workshop is over in the Eastern States. Every time I have ordered from them I have had it within 4 days, Australia Post is great. Freight companies take two weeks but it you just use regular post it only takes 4 days from one side of Australia to the other, can't complain about that. ;D

I'm in New York, and last time I ordered, I ordered an army box on saturday and got it Saturday.

When my hobby shop places its orders, it places them Tuesday to have the stuff by friday.

It's always been pretty quick for me (to North Carolina) but it may depend on what you order or how busy they are at the time.

For Eastern Canada, they say about 6-10 days...usually more around 12-14 days...so a bit over 2 work week.
