Default Odd moments

One time a remainder of a squad was 2 guardsmen and one commisar. Oddly, not one loss was taken and I sweep/advanced his 2 men left. Got any odd monents?

Oh, ya, my enemy was a squad of 10 space marines.

Just recently my friend and I were making lists and preparing for a tournament.

He was playing Necrons, and he had a big unit of 12 Warriors and his souped up Lord. My enemy, being the incredibly bright person he's being taught to be, moved up both of his units next to the objectives, easily claiming 1/2 of the objectives on the field in 1 turn.

My Turn, I fired Markerlights on my Sky Ray, 2 hits, then I fired my Subby and all other weapons between my Sky Ray and my Hammerhead, and I downed 6 Necrons. They failed their Leadership testand ran back 7", putting them within 6" of the board edge. Then they rolled 12 for their regrouping test the turn after that, and ran another 7", removing 1/2 of his scoring units and leaving me with my 3 Troop Choices, Kroot holding 1 objective, Fire Warriors holding another, and my Devilfish/Fire Warriors holding the third objective.

I ran a rhino up on edge of the board and did a rare ramming (4th ed) on a basilisk that was placed on an corner edge of his deployment.

I lost the game but it was still great seeing it happen.

A single guardsmen killed a my friends crisis suit once.

I had twelve souped up stealers (feeder tendrils, Scything talons) charge the remains of an honor guard. I completly failed to hurt them. I got no rending rolls, and they made like 20 saves. Then those three space marines killed six outright, and the extra wounds from no retreat killed the other six. My poor poor stealers :'(

IIRC Space Marines are not destroyed when caught in a Sweeping Advance...

Two rhinos attempt to arrive on my friends board edge but to do so they have to take a dangerous terrain test, my friend fails both leaving the rhinos stuck on the board edge unable to do anything.

Or, in fourth ed, 8 space marines board a landraider, it speeds 12" towards the objective and is destroyed by my hammerhead, I manage to wound all eight, then he fails 8 saves, out of 8. Ouch :P
