Default Anyone planning to enter the 'ard Boys tournament?

I'm putting together my list after playing in a 2000 point Tournament this weekend. Just wanted to see who else might be thinking about it.

It is a 2500 point Tournament that has you put together your most hard core list. I won't be surprised to see 3 deep striking monoliths for Necrons.

They're holding it at my store as well. and its a multi-stage tournament. First its at the local store thats hosting it. 2500 points, apparently free entry, good stuff for the top 3. Then those guys go to a regional standings, very good prizes for the top three there (1st place regionals gets a 2500 point army for free) and then its nationals at Baltimore.

I've got my list posted, I hope it dominates.

Looks interesting, is it in England too? One thing that sounds a bit off though; at the start you have to use C:SM's 4th ed' where as from the *semi-finals you have to use C:SM's 5th ed'...

EDIT - *Sorry; in the finals.

I'm pretty sure it is US only. Yeah the 5th edition Marine codex might be kind of hard to deal with at 2500 points. However, I'd have to make it to the finals to deal with it which is doubtful. I'm seriously wondering how to put together a 2500 point take all commers list with Farsight.

well...be prepared to see a lot of deep striking. I am thinking my DW army will prove interesting if I can make it to the later rounds.

A codex switch right in the middle huh? Sounds a little akward if you ask me. I might do pretty well in the local tournament if I don't lose sight of what I need to do, and get even half-decent rolls.

I am planning on going to the one in Omaha, NE.

If anyone else is planning on going to that one, look for either a Templar player, or an Imperial guard player(grey army, black tanks)
