Just wondering,
What kind of games do the majority of you play?? eg. elimination, point capture etc..?

I roll for both missions and deployment types. If I'm writing out a campaign, then occasionally I will go ahead and choose, say, a special mission, but I mostly do the basic missions.

For now, we roll for our missions and deployment until my Game Club Manager has decided which is best for our local tournament then I'll be playing that

Look at page 90-93. These are the basic mission scenarios, while there are some more advanced ones later on in the book (p. 252 and on, the campaign section.) Alternatively, if you wanted more scenarios you could try to find a cheap 4th edition rulebook, that was one of the best things about the 4th ed. book, the amount of different missions.

Thanks for the page Reference, i will read them! Anything that i should learn before i get into dadvanced ones? Or would that just be Pg 90-93? You dont have to have a mission though you can play elimination based cant you?

If you want to play Annihilation instead of any of the other game style, then yes, you are perfectly within your ability to do so as long as you and your opponent want to do it. However, I find that objectives make the game far more entertaining, as you need to adhere to some sort of battle plan and the game becomes a lot more strategic and entertaining because you have to think a lot harder, protect certain troops, and put others higher on your Target Priority list.
