Default what they sould pout in the new rules book

I was saying a wile back that it would be sweet to have the rules for a AI books, that is the rules for super heavies, fliers, and gargantuan creators in the 5th edition rules book. Plus wouldn't it be sweet if thy pout the states and rules for the forge world models into the next generation of codexes. This is just me, rambling but I would like to hear your thoughts and comments about this

Sorry man, I'd love to reply to your post, but for the life of me I can't figure out what half of it is about. Maybe try a spellcheck and proof-read first?

So sorry man I do spell check. All I was saying was that I would like them to put the special rules in the AI books into the new rules book and then make the forge world models a standard part of all 40k armies by putting the rules for the unit into each codex

Would absolutely dig that. I love AI (Aeronautica Imperialis) and I've been wondering how I could make it a part of a normal 40k game.

I'm not really too sure of the relationship between Forge World and GW though.. as far as I've heard there seems to be some politics going on there. Personally I'd be happy with anything that gave AI more exposure.

LOL I think the poster meant Imperial Armour. You know, things like Baneblades, Mantas, Ravens, that lot plus the rules for Superheavies.

Statlines would, properly, belong in a Codex, however, not in the Rulebook.

I support the addition of new FW units that fit within existing game parameters. For example, there are a large number of Imperial armoured and soft-top units... as well as a rare few for the Xenos and Chaos. Some of them deserve more proper appearance - if they added the Raven to the Dark Eldar list Heavy Choice, I'd be pleased (although mostly because it meant they posted a new DE Codex...)

I wonder if any (rich) madmen out there play AI using 28mm models?

Gah, I give up. This is why I shouldn't waste my time responding to posters that can't be bothered to proofread their stuff.

I don't have a problem understanding what they are trying to say...

I was disappointed when I saw the stat lines for the special DE flyer's. I thought, thats all Im getting for that many points? At first I was stoked when Apocalypse came out because it would give me the chance to run those models but for the points I personally don't feel they are worth it.

I do, but I persist in trying to understand them. Please to proofread.

They only have one, and it's only a Heavy Support choice. Unless you are facing AA fire you are nigh untouchable, you move 18"+ every turn, have long-barrelled splinter cannon of doom (pieplates!) and a dark lance. Not too shabby... it has good dakka and while the Ravager has more, it can be ganked pretty easily and does not have the total mobility superiority of the Raven.

It's not unbalanced, considering its point cost and hardiness. Consider how much that bad boy can kill in a game... it easily earns back its points. Except it's a Forge World build, meaning $$.

For aeriel combat, the Vampires are also available for Dark Eldar... they are the purview of the non-DE non-Craftworld pirate Eldar and work for whoever they feel like. Vampires are Superheavy Fliers and come in Dropship and Dakka-Dakka-More-Dakka varieties (the latter being DE-preferred, given the ubiquitousness of the Webway Portal).

Technically they have three; the Raven, the Razorback, and the Void Dragon Phoenix. Sadly, the Razorback is no longer available to purchase from Forgeworld (perhaps the moulds were too badly damaged) but its rules still exist in Imperial Armour 2 (if not other publications) if someone were able to get one second-hand/kit bash one (in fact, if you were willing to fork out the money for it, it would probably be quite easy to make a Razorback from two Raven kits).
