Well I have about £100 to spend, I will definelty start death Korps AND Deamonhunters eventaully if not now, I'm not sure whether I should expand my Tau army or not, the armys I usually face are: Tyranids (I have no trouble with them) Lost and damned (Pretty evenly matched) and chaos space marines (which I struggle with)

Currently I have:
11 Crisis battleuits (Magnetized)
6 Stealth suits
1 Ethereal
12 Kroot
1 Kroot shaper
1 Hammerhead/Skyray (Magnetized)
2 hammerhead kits (can build hammerhead or Devilfish)
24 fire warriors (12 with rifles, 12 with Carbines)
1 Devilfish
1 Sniper drone team
2 Broadside

Thanks to anyone who replys/votes in advance, I have the Taros campaign BTW so I can get Tau forge world

I was just thinking of putting up a post very close to this one. I am debating more Tau, starting Orcs, starting Chaos, or starting BA.

You have a very complete Tau army, sure you can always add more models but it's playable and balanced as is so why not start something new. You can always add the odd Tau piece to your collection any time and still play them whenever you want.

My vote was Deamonhunters just because they seem to have so many cool options and a nice look as well. The only down side to them the the high number of metal minis in the army.

OK, here’s my Tau list:
10 Crisis suits
4 Broadside suits
8 Stealth suits
28 Firewarriors
16 Kroot
1 Sniper team
1 Hammerhead
2 Devilfish
1 Piranha
4 Shield Drones
1 Marker Drone
24 Gun Drones (half un-constructed just in case I decide to do a conversion)

And here’s the good and the bad I’ve thought of so far in considering a new army.

Blood Angels:
Good
-Very different play style compared to Tau
-Tough army in general
-White Dwarf rewrite, so no changes in the immediate
Bad
-Boring chapter colors, doesn’t look fun to paint

Chaos:
Good
-Can theme them for variety
-Lots of cool painting options
-Obliterators (I’ve always loved/hated them)
Bad
-Fairly Slow Army
-There is another Chaos player in my group

Orks:
Good
-Can theme them for variety
-Lots of cool modeling options
-Lots of cool painting options
-Just got a new Codex, so no changes in the immediate
Bad
-Looks like it’s the most expensive of the 3 choices

In general I want to start something different so I nixed Eldar/DE right off the bat. Space Wolves also looked really cool but their stuff is being pulled for a rewrite.

Since, I am painting my pure GK force and loving the army ATM, I say go Demon Hunters! They are great and then when you start collecting Death Korps, you can use your Death Korps models as allies, so you don't need a full force to play! Yay! (though I guess it works the other way as well, but Demonhunters are cool.).

Also, it appears a few of your opponents are chaos, so it's super-fluffy.

Poor Kroot, It seems Death Korps has gone rocketing up, I'm shifting towards death Korps and Deamonhunters, but I still really want a flyer...

Also my best buddy who I play warhammer with all the time has said if I get Death Korps, he will start Renegade militia and go halves on siege of vraks with me.

I will leave the poll for a while longer though.

@ Nox, I would go for either orks or chaos, I would pick Chaos but that is just because I've always hated orks and always will.
