Default Grand tournaments...

http://uk.games-workshop.com/tournam...-pack-2006.pdf

The rules here seem harsh and restrictive do they not?
I was planning on attending a GT however now I'm unsure, so any appropiate advise would be greatly apprecaited-Brassdeamon14

Tourney rules are always much stricter as they are competitive play and there are many people who will go for any loophole. Looking over the rules package, looks like the pretty standard rule set they use for any tourney that GW puts on. However, do remeber this is competitive play, not for fun games. People will be more vicious and concerned with the win than in a normal one off or game store game.

What is so bad about the rules? I see nothing out of the ordinary in there.

It's just since I have a physical disorder I may not be able to cope with those rules I mean my turn takes like 20 minutes , fair enough it's competition but y'know a tad harsh.

i read those 5 words and i know what you mean (or, i know a few people in the same boat)

if you just let the organisers know (the GW events team i guess in this case), they and any opponents you have should be ok.

I agree with El. If you let them know ahead of time, then they can make arrangements. That rule is to prevent people from playing stale tactics to force a draw.
