Default Warhammer was just on Australian TV.

Friday night, just now, The ABC show Collectors just featured some Warhammer collector and his armies, an Bretonnian Army and a Hordes Of Chaos Army, and a Giant. He apparently won a Golden Daemon for his Green Knight dude. They showed the rulebook, some of his (great) models, and some examples of gender roles, with some obnoxious fellow with no clue wondering why the only female model was a Bretonnian Damsel or whatever.

Anyway, Just thought I'd report it. Pity no 40k models were shown, well, I didn't see any.

There was an Australian show a while back which had a large bit on GW's LOTR game.

It even featured "expert" in the form of a store manager I actually knew who ran the store in my area.

When you said "On TV" I thought the same way South Koreans watch Starcraft on TV. That would be too much.

Ah, didn't see the Collectors this week. Been out =\

Though Warhammer stuff isn't all that old, so I don't know why it would feature on that show...

It's still a collectors item however.

As for 40K models, I'm sure I saw Jain Zar, a Falcon, a Farseer, and a warlocks.

I also find it kinda funny that one of the questions was "What is the role of women in this world?". I suppose it probably shouldn't be funny, but the first image of women in Warhammer that popped into my mind was Witch Elves. I can understand why the guy didn't answer "blood crazed religious fanatics" under the circumstances.
