not sure if this is the right place to post this...
I learned the rules and I haven't got a chance to play anybody yet... Im getting kind of discouraged. Their is a game shop by us but NO one plays 40k. they all play fnatasy warhammer and magic and other card games.I went there like ten times and sat around and no one seem to play. I really want to play because I enjoy the painting the modeling and I even enjoyed reading the rule book. I really want to play but.....
anybody interested in gaming with me?
i live in the santa clarita valley (in southern california)
and im 15.
and i like never played 40k with another person.
does anybody know any clubs in that area or something?

Search the Forums for VASSAL.
It'll let you play over the internet (using some badly drawn sprites :P).

well if end up having to do that....... but id rather play some one in real life you know besides I ve all ready put together a small little army.....

Ask the store owners if they have 40k gaming nights. If they don't I would search for other stores in your area. Especially look for GW stores nearby since that will definitely guarantee you a game with someone.

Another good way to find people to play is by browsing through the forums of your local game stores - If they are worth their name, they have SOME form of Web-presence, and most likely a forum, as well. Ask there...

Also it is not a wise thing to post on the internet your age and where you live. There are some very dishonest people in this world, and they only need alittle bit of info to cause major harm to someone.

Good luck in finding a gaming group. Also like other people have suggested, I would ask the store you purchased your models from.

I know how you feel mate, my brother plays but quite frankly he sucks, he is only young so no offence to him

The nearest GW is 2 hour drive away, and pretty much all of them are pricks there...

When my Brother and his friends stopped playing warhammer (at the exact same time) I had no one to play for a while, but I went on the internet and kept browsing google for *my location* and Warhammer 40k or club or really anything and then I was able to find a really good gaming store, and now I am part of a very large Wargamming club in Ontario.

It may take a while to find a place, but if there is a place to game near where you live, you should be able to find something online for sure!
