well i am in need of a 4th member for my gaming posse. i've tried to get people into 40k so far i have gotten 3 people to play warhammer.
anyhow i did have one failure i think i made things too hard or pushed too hard on him. my question is how do i create a simple way to get people into warhammer. i have been bringing in codexes into school and letting people read them. |

Be patient. Don't shove it down their throats, people do not like that :
. Maybe bring an old model, thats painted pretty good to school so people can see the beauty of the models. Feed them slowly but surely ![]() If they get interested introduce them to all of the races so they don't get bored. Good luck on your gaming group!

I did this a couple of days ago. Invite them to go down and have a small game (let the staff run the game since they're training to give newbie players a fun and easily understood game of 40k without too much sideline rules.)
But do it slowly and surely, and if they want to learn, let them learn at their own pace .And remember the golden rule. People do this hobby for fun. If a guy likes painting, but hates gaming, don't force him to game with the rest of the group if they don't want to, and vice versa. |

well my games store doesn't have a noob program so i can't do that.
but what i did was i had them choose between 20 guardsmen or 8 space marines. then i had them face off against 8 genestealers. i used some terrain and played on a pretty small board. |
