Default Medusa V

I have been looking at the GW website and can't find out when Medusa V ends. Does anyone know when?

GW are currently at the 'deciding' moment, calculating Victories and Loses and all that hoo... ha.... So we'll have to wait and see.

P.S I didn't enter Medusa V, as I didn't have an army! :'(

You have to wait until the 6th of this month (acording to thier newsletter).
Then check for results , I did notice looking at the final unofficail results that many armies were tied (in different places) so it looks to me that GW will simply pick the final results they want .
Space Maines should come out on top from what I remember , with Necrons and Nids at the bottem.

So how does my race doing good in Medusa effect me. Is it just a fluff change, or will they come out with a chapter approved or what?

We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

I'm not sure about every other army, but the nids were supposed to get a special lictor returning that hasn't officially been seen in a while... but if the nids are at the bottom then I doubt it will happen. I think for the most part its just a way for them to do a lot of fluff, like how the blood angels captain Tycho died in the third armageddon war or eldrad during the eye of terror campaign. It doesn't stop anyone from using those characters, it just adds an ending to how they died and gives us a decent story to read (if you can find it the brother captain tycho death was written really well, I suggest reading it.).

Speaking of deaths, has it been revealed whether Ygethmor or Sicarius died yet?

Well somebody has to die. It's traditional in 40k summer campaigns for special characters to die. In Armageddon3 Captain Tycho, Orkimedes and Admiral Parol all bought it, whilst in EoT Eldrad Ulthuan had a nasty run-in with a Blackstone Fortress.

Harazhan is biting it, I hear...it says something to the effect that he's fighting to the bitter end with many Guardsmen to buy time for everyone else to escape.

...and Tycho's death was pretty sweet. He just went to show that Blood Angels are badarse Alucard-like vampires, not sissy emo ones.

Still not as cool as the Flesh Tearers though. The Gaius Point Massacre? Beautiful, just beautiful. Shame we haven't heard anything more from them since then.

Technically the whole planet is dying, so wether a character dies or not doesn't matter. I mean, which is a bigger impact, a special character or an entire civilization dying?
