Default 3 person scenario?

Does anyone have any good 3 player scenario's? There are normally 3 of us who play regularly at a friends house and everytime we try any mission with all 3 it turns into a 1 on 1 with the 3rd person cleaning up whats left. Just wondered if anyone out there had a fair way for 3 people to play at the same time? I'm looking for a scenario or mission where the pts value is equal for each player, we tried 2 people playing 1000 pts each against the 3rd playing 2000 pts, just doesnt work out very well.

Thx

Senarios for three people.

Well i prefer my self to have small battle, usuall 1000 pnts with speed play.

And keep the third one out.

Well sorta have thre battle. But when senario comes into it the first two affect the last.
This gives the game a randomized feel boyond those levels that proberbillity of dice rolles can bring.

But three in the same game. You could designe the game to be One on one. Setting both players goals. And you your self spicing it up a bit with your onw agenders. Not letting them know that you will turn up might have them team up to defeat you. This will make you acheiving your goals harder. Plus they would still have to keep there goal in mind.

The other thing is that they may choos to keep ther objective top keeping your force at bay along the way.

Best,

LordAbsol.

There is no fair way to do a 3-way scenario, although the infamous "Battle at Da Camp" is the best I've seen...

Capture the hill is good. Basically you have each army start at a different board edge but far apart and the objective is to capture and hold a center position. Be it a rock, a flag stand, a ruin, a monument, whateva. It makes all sides fight in a meat grinder especially if you have impassable terrain seperating each force until they reach said center objective.

most 3-way scenario's are not tactical and just turns into "best guy gets owned by other two". 4 ways, with carnage, is better.

The only way to make a 3-way is to get two smaller teams allied with a larger one.

However, you can't ally just anyone...

"Good Guys": Imperial, Eldar, Tau, Kroot Mercenaries.

"Bad Guys": Chaos, Dark Eldar, Orks, Kroot Mercenaries.

"Loners": Necrons, Tyranids.

Even then, there are exceptions. Chaos cannot ally with an opposed army (eg: Khorne and Slaneesh cannot ally!), and any Chapter whose traits forbid allies (like Dark Angels) may only ally with other Imperial forces (although they won't like it...).

Likewise, Farsight Enclave Tau won't ally with Imperial or Eldar.

I dont think hes refering to 1 team of 3 ppl but a battle with 3 seperate armies all opposed to each other.

This why players more often than not make up there own Three way dance senarios. These are mostly Taylored to all the player. Plus I find mostly all three of the player Took part in its creation.

I was refering to that quote.

Two smaller teams ALLIED with a larger one sounds like 3 ppl versus somethone else or another group of allies to me.
