Default most cheesy, most beardy, most powerplaying list

I figured it would be interesting to see what the most powerplaying list ever is.

please restrain it to 1000 pts, and lets see it!

First the wraithlord heavy Eldar list:

Elite 2: Wraithguard x5
Wraithcannon Total: 175
Troops 1: Guardian Defender Squad x7
x7 shuriken catapult, Eldar Missile Launcher Total: 95

Troops 2: Guardian Defender Squad x7
x7 shuriken catapult, Eldar Missile Launcher Total: 95

Heavy Support 1: Wraithlord
Star Cannon, x2 shuriken catapult, CC weapons Total: 120

Heavy Support 1: Wraithlord

Army Total: 980

:sadnshocked: pretty beardy...

Will make an IG list later, lets try and fit a 700+ pt. Baneblade into a 1000 pt list...
> > >
this is evil...

[EDIT]

alright, lets try the baneblade IG list...

first of all, the tank

3 structure points
3 energy fields
Targeter (+1 BS)

Front Armour-14
Side Armour-14
Rear Armour-12

Type-Tank
Size-War Machine
Speed-Lumbering

Weapons-

6 Boltguns
2 Lascannons
1 Stormbolter
1 Gatling Lasgun
1 Battle Cannon and Co-Axial Long Barrelled Autocannon
1 Long Barrelled Demolisher Cannon

Pts-766

This is based off of the Baneblade model that I own, which was given to me by a friend of my parents (architecture teachers) which was all hand made, except for an IG pilot in the top hatch, so if its not exactly like a forge world one, that's why. ;D

Which gives us 234 points to make a minimum IG army...

HQ 1: Command Squad x1 Junior Officer x4 Guardsmen
x1 Laspistol CC Weapon x4 Lasguns Total: 40

Troops 1: x1 Junior Officer x4 Guardsmen, x2 Sergeants, x18 Guardsmen
x1 Laspistol CCW, x24 LasgunsTotal: 160

Troops 1: x1 Junior Officer x4 Guardsmen, x2 Sergeants, x18 Guardsmen
x1 Laspistol CCW, x24 LasgunsTotal: 160

Army Total: 360

Dang, so close, yet so far, only another 26 points and you could field a Baneblade in a 1000 point game.
You could always innocently ask if you could go over 26 points...
> > >

I still have necron, tyranid, and tau codex's at my house, i'll go look for them and post power lists tomorrow.

P.S. Doom upon the soul who would consider actually using one of these...

your rules for the baneblade are WAY off. there isn't even a weapon called a gatling lasgun at all!

a minimum guard army at 234 points would have to be:
JO and command stuaff

5 grenadiers

5 grenadiers

its the lowest possible minimum guard army. if your going to go vanilla you can't make a legal 234 point army.

also, if you get the real baneblade dont post the rules here, its a breach of copyright. dont post individual point costs either.

The last UK GT winning Ulthwe list. It was pretty sick,

6 Min Maxed Guardian Squads with Starcannons [2 Black],
Falcon,
2 Wraithlord,
Vyper [or 2],
Huge Beard of Doom Council.
[May have been an Avatar]

IIRC.

You can say what you want about the Council being slow, at the end of the day they average a movement of 9-10", they can beat any unit in the game in combat and they are practically impossible to destroy with anything short of Psycannons and Incinerators. So your looking at a mobile unit that can destroy tanks, hordes, characters [even heavy Infantry because of the amount of wounds they cause with Witchblades] with ease. A unit that costs almost 500 points, 500 points which you will not be taking from the enemy with anything short of miracle.

Then the army is blasting you with 6-8 Starcannon. Thats 10 MEQ kills right there. Then you have the mobile and durable Falcon that can take objectives along with the Vyper. The Wraitlord will be plodding along blowing away tanks with Bright Lances at BS4 and slaying anything that gets close to them in combat.

It's not 1500 points but thats pretty much regular Tourney size.

Many armies can be pretty beardy at 1000 points. Nid MC lists are very powerful as are 3 Wraithlord Eldar forces.

Tau are the most powerful at combat patrol IMO, without even being particularly beardy. The Devilfish and Monat suits are king of combat patrol.
