Default Giving 40k a title

Hey guys and gals, I'm doing a photography project on 40k and on my bristol board I need a good title that can encompass pretty much everything about 40k, any ideas? .

"In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war."
One of the truest (and most official) descriptions of 40k.

I second that. Its the quote to end all quotes when defining 40k.

That's how GW always describes it and that's pretty accurate.

If you wanted something shorter you could just go for "There is Only War"

but the whole thing has a nice ring to it.

I'll agree with Elsessar on this one, it is short sweet and too the point.

It provides you with a specific time frame, and gives general idea without getting into the whole dark and gothic nature.

The Grim Darkness line is the unofficial motto of 40K.

There is a much longer version, which I feel encompasses the 40K ethos perfectly, could also be used if you aren't pushed for space.

I don't have it to hand, however.

Are you talking about the one at the beginning of all the Black Library books?
