Shock and awe in 40k? Sure is possible, I like to do it against constantly cheesy players. Ive been playing many of my games against the same opponents (because of where I live) and one of the guys particularly likes to tailer his forces to whatever his opponent is playing, instead of all comers type armies (which the rest of us lean towards). I got sick of it after awhile and so in instead of using my Ork army ive been trialing i played instead a Slaanesh, infiltrate, KoS and Lord wi infil and daemon speed. By his 2nd turn he only had one unit left (1000pt game)!!! Certainly brought him back into line lol ;D ;D ;D I think that shock and awe is fine (gravy even 8)) if used not to often, because after awhile it can just become cheese! However those are just my thoughts on it.
And sneaking around is never cool, unless you're dressed as a ninja. Then it's awesome.
