Default Attacking vehicles in close combat

I remember from aeons ago there was a rule regarding attacking vehicles in close combat; it was called: 'She's gonna blow!' It allowed troops that had dealt a mortal blow to a vehicle to make a 'free' move away from it before it blew up. I am not aware of any such rule today but if troops manage to deal 'lethal' damage to a vehicle (ie. destroyed/explodes/annihilated) does it count as a massacre? Are they permitted to move D6" before the vehicle blows up and takes them with it? Are they at least permitted a 3" consolidation move?

this ones simple.

nope, no rule like that.

nope, doesn't count as a massacre.

nope, no consolidation.

and even if there was it would be after the vehicle blew, so no getting away from the blast.

That sucks...kinda makes the use of melta bombs somewhat risky. >

Well thanks for clearing that up.

Yea but you first have to get a penetrating result and then roll a 6 so it explodes and then your men need to be damaged and then you need to fail your saves... not really that great of a risk.
