Default Evan match

The necron warrior has 2 higher LD than a Space marine and a Space Marine as 2 higher I than a Necron. Which do you think is better, and I don't mean a upgraded SM either

Fluff wise or gaming wise?

Gaming wise probably the space marine.

Fluff wise it is pretty even, but I still favour the smurf.

Letīs see (all gamewise).

Necron benefits are gun that can destroy anything, they are a little slower, but a lot tougher due to WBB (of course a single warrior wonīt get WBB, but), and the LD difference is good, unless marines have the leader giving all LD 10.

Iīd guess Necron.

You have a point I wasn't even thinking about the gun. Ah well I change my vote to necron for gaming but I still stand on my tie or space marine for fluff purposes.

Fluff is realy dependant on how you look at fluff. All fluff portrays Space Marines as miniturized battletanks, but the only recent Necron fluff indicating their combat capabilities is too ludicrous to beleive - I'm sorry, but an entire armoured company worth of ordinance, heavy weapons, and lasfire is going to cause at least one casualty! :

Where is this reference from? Does it state that necrons went and blew up and entire armoured company with no casualties?!

Third page of the Necron Codex. An armoured column of the Cadian 23 happens across a Necron army rising out of the sands, and despite firing "salvo after salvo" from their tanks, they suffer what appears to be 100% casualties for no recorded kills.

Um I think the idea is that either everyone died so they couldn't go counting necron bodies, or the necrons cleaned up their "destroyed" comrades (who can probably be fixed by tomb spyders). Anyway fluff and the game bear no resemblance to each other (a space marine character could have killed all those necrons with a spoon and a piece of bailing twine).
