Yeah, which makes you wonder why a race whos technology is so advanced they can produce weapons comparable to imperial standards at an incredibly small fraction of the size isn't a major force in the galaxy with its own codex. We will definitly hear more fluff on them when codex: Xeno-hunters comes out (along with other races that got shoved under the rug fluff-wise in 3rd ed), but its still yet another plot hole.

In the Necron codex (not that the fluff really matters...) the Jokearo has the ability of "technology Mimicing".

Maybe the coolness factor. I dont know about you but Im not likely to play a race of hairy monkeys with ring guns... yea being a little harsh there but you get the idea. Sounds cool fluff wise but in practice it may not be that practical.

In rogue trader it talks about how the Jokaro dont seem to have any actual intelligence. They simply instinctivley know how to make these strange little techno gadgets, but dont do much else.

Correct - they're totally instinctive, and IIRC they are by no means able to remember what they did and reproduce it.

It was Space marines and orks, next Dark eldar i think.

And Warhammer fantasy predates 40k by about 41,000 years i think.

you know? I found some faith in humanity lying in the street earlier. I looked around and didn't see anyone, so I kept it. However, if it belongs to someone, I'd just as soon return it.

It didn't use to. Originally WFB was set after 40k and was supposedly the last habitable planet in the galaxy. The old ones tried to seal it off from chaos (who had eaten the rest of the galaxy) but weren't a hundred percent succesful. Sigmar was supposedly one of the lost Primarchs. Of course WFB in real life was made years before 40k so most of that is a RetCon (and makes even less sense nowdays with the independant developement both games have had).
