Default Army Sizes

A friend and I are debating. Can the armies you play with in the MedusaV campaign be of any size? He says I am not aloud to play with my 400pt border patrol (or 40k equivelent)

I do not have a large khorne force yet, but I will be getting more... I have 2 squads and HQ, which is perfectly legal. Can I play with this in the appropriate sized games? ie 400pts

Thanks

The only thing I see stopping you is finding a person to play against, there probably were scout clashes on Medusa V. Also with combat patrol I think you only need one troops minimum so your set.

It's important to note that you don't actually need an HQ for Combat Patrol. The only requirement is that you have at least one troop. This should give you some more flexability with your list, so you don't have to have a point sink HQ (and we all know they're point sinks :P).

Still, they're nice to have now because at any higher gamepoint level, you will need the second troop choice and a HQ.

If you answered yes to question 1, you are in fact a power gamer, and your list is probably either beardy or you can abuse the rules to make it such.

Dont forget though, you must have a HQ choice with the mark of khorne to let khorne berserekers become Troops choices.

Oh that's true. I didn't thing about that. Still, he could change the second troop choice to give his first troop more guys and give his HQ a unit of chosen, all by using the same models he has now. Good catch Primarch!
