Default Armies of the ordos missing from the fall of medusa V?

Upon reading the attachment of this months white dwarf I noticed the only ordo activity was they grey knights helping the Ultra marines, Why are the Ordos not at that possible Warp way to hell?

Of course the Inquisition is present!

The first few pages talk about Inquisitor activity on Medusa V and mention that the Inquisitors have called many of the forces to the planet.

There's even a few direct quotes from Inquisitors who're on the surface.

Don't look for the inquisition at the forefront and in the spotlight. Seek them in the shadows and darkness.

Remember: No one expects the Spanish Orders of the Emperor's Holy Inquisition!

Their forces are imperial forces. They usually don't have entire armies comprised soley of inquisitorial troops. More often they use Auxilaries from the Imperial Guard or Allied Space Marines.

Don't worry the forces of the Inquisition are certainly on the planet, and they definitley have goals to accomplish. They're just biding their time and waiting till they've gathered as much information as possible.

That would be my guess. They are out to stop the demonic after all and that is the main reason the Space marines are there. If your using iducted Guard or Allied Marines I think you're wins or losses would be best for the army you used the most of.

By "biding their time", he means going after a bunch of innocents that happen to have names similar (with at least two of the same letters) to known criminals. All are guilty after you shot'em with a psycannon...

If they weren't you'd be in trouble. good thing you get to judge'em then eh?

They are with the Imperium. Elite specialist forces don't have a seperate agenda.

COME ON! Use a little common sense.

Pyscannon ammunition is rare and expensive. Most innocents hertics just get thrown on the bonfires. Promethium is not only cheap and in plentiful supply, it also has many theraputic cleansing benifiets.

i.e.

Ash can be swept up by broom servitors.

The Inquisition very rarely has the need or ability to act as an appreciable force in a massive open planetary conflict such as Medusa V. I would only ever expect the Sisters to be protecting shrines and helping refugees, the Grey Knights to deal with the very biggest and baddest daemonic manifestations and the Deathwatch to be hunting after the various Tyranid vanguard infestations...or the Ork Hulk.

I can see the odd Inquisitor and gang going around here and there doing whatever they can to stem the tide or investigate this and that...but really...the Inquisition has no NEED to operate in force and their resources will be stretched out so they can do the most damage augmenting various armies.

That's how I see it :-\

Indeed, the Inquisition often operates much like my Khorne Lord, they go where they wanna go, do what they wanna do and attack anything they wanna attack :P.

They don't sacrifice them to Khorne, however...they just burn their enemies like the Emperor intended 8)
