Default Guide to YOUR army's type

Your armies are all different (unless your a copy cat, in which case I spit on you > ). This is a guide to help you classify your army.

Without much further ado, I give you KONG! er well, the army types.

Size matters, no matter what you've been told!
>150 models: Horde
100-149: Swarm
50-99: - (no extra name)
<50: Elite

Slobs fail.
If you fill all allotted slots of a certain type on the FoC,
Max Elite: Elite Heavy
Max HQ: HQ Heavy
Max Troop: Troop Heavy
Max Fast Attack: Fast Attack Heavy
Max Heavy Support: Support Heavy

Are all of your units mounted in vehicles? (I can never spell that right)
Yes: Mechanized, or Mech
No: -

Are all units able to move 12" or more per turn, not including assault move (if not assaulting)?
Yes: Fast
No: -

Is your army assaulty or shooty? (point wise)
70% are shooting units: Shooty
70% are assaulting units: Assaulty
50% each: -

I'll start,
Shooty Fast Mech Support Heavy Tau.

We do have a spellcheck you know. Ran it on your post. -S

- Elite Heavy Support Heavy Mechanized Fast Shooty Tau.

This barely works for a 2,000 point army... has some obvious flaws...
Watch me rebuild my army! - Now with pics of my new scheme!

Open invitation to all: Send me a pm, and I'll be have a look at your army list.

Necrons: Fast for a Necron army. Necrons are very slow unless you go the lower model count route.

Witch Hunters: Troop Heavy, but not so much assault as there is 12" dominance =)

Tyranids: Shooty horde as soon as I'm done

Im the following: shooty elite fast support heavy mech Tau. I can barely bust 40 Models at 1500 when using units I dont like when optimized at 2000 I might not even break 50. It works though. Surprisingly it works. And everything is mechanized and everything can move 12" a turn although some are jet pack moves I still count those.

Okay I have a problem my marine army doesn't fit in any of your names.

1 HQ choice
no Elites
5 Troops
1 Fast attack
1 Heavy support

4 units for assault and 4 for shooting.

See this link.

SIGAFH. Might swarm on occasion, though (usually play 1000pts, so not a lot of room for hundreds of troops...)
