Death of Epic? Is Epic 40k dead?
I was looking at the epic models and theres no Tau or anything on Games workshop what happened? The size of epic allways made me feel a greatter respect for the armies and now nothing. Please tell me they still exist.

wait, you can buy those models and paint them and use them in a real tau army? they are really cheap and if you can i dont know why people dont buy those and take extra sprues from the other hammer head packs and glue em on.

Epic, along with most other systems, has been taken over by Specialist Games.
Essentially, they're now running on a low-budget format. The Armies are still available to buy, but for the most part you're looking at playtest forces. From what I've heard, they aren't releasing any more books. The official rules will be released on the Epic site for free download, but they won't print them like they did with Armageddon or Swordwind. I hope this isn't true, because I loved the books. Epic isn't dead by any means; it just has a more covert following these days.
