What is the best thing that you have ever killed with a Ordnance weapon?

Here's mine- A Imperial Guard+Deamonhunters had just deep striked 10 Grey Knights and 10 Stormtropers near my Ork Boyz. They could only shoot at my boyz and killed 8. I had my looted Bessie near by and when it was my shooting phase I lobed a shot right on the middle of the 2 squads. I rolled a hit on the scatter dice and proceded to totally KILL the whole Grey Knight squads and 9 of the 10 Stormtroopers. My opponent was ticked.

The best thing ive seen with ordinance came on was was likley the last turn of a cleanse mission in which my opponent (IG) and myself (using a friend's tau army to show another friend what 40k was) were grabbing at loose ends for table quarters. I broke cover with my last 10 man strong squad of firewarriors to be the only unit inside one of the adjacent squares, they were in the open, and i was pretty sure my friend would move his Russ from around the building to take a shot at them with his battle cannon. Leaving them spaced out would mean that any scatter would kill some of them, and i needed them to be strong enough to capture for sure. so in a gutsy move i pack them in so close together that a scatter roll of more than two would leave them completly unharmed. We joked about the rediculousness of this reckless move then he moved his tank.


Of coure he rolls a hit and anihilates the whole squad... one dumb move by me, and one sweet shot by him, won him the match. All i can say is that if it were my own army, those guys would have been in a transport...a skimmer transport hoping to survive the glancing hit.

Best I have ever done with ordinance is 3 Terminators dropped with one Tyranid Spore Mine. I doubt I can ever top that.

With my madusa.

Direct hit on a cluster of deep striking assault terminators, 5 out of the 7 lived. And in the same game, the madusa also took out the Land Raider.

I targeted an ork group with railgun submunition. every single shot hit. goin pretty good, i thought. wounds every single one. i was feeling lucky. he saved 1 out of the 10 i wounded, forcing him to take a morale check for last man standing(the squad was already a little weakened) he failed and fell back into a crossfire from my fire warriors.

Best my Basie has done was in a 2 vs 1. Dark Angels 2000pt and Salamander 2000pt vs Iron Warriors 3000pt to the death on a 2 1/2 by 5 table moderate terrain. It was a glorious pounding issued to the deluded imperials. Drop pods didn't help them at all. I had the dice lords on my side, and their corpse god left them to die at the hands of chaos.

9. game called at end of Smurfs turn before I got to go again

Please tell me how the hell you can fit 20 models under one ordance plate?... cuase either he had them in a perfect circle or you scored ALOT of partial hits.

But mine was using the barrage blasts of the DH orbital strikes.
4 consecutive turns i took out at least 6 guants a turn with it and the most being 11 in one turn. However i rarly use ordance.

Or the other was using a demo charge. My guy threw it and it landed 1" from his feet, killing squad and the 6 orks they were attacking.

Lest see.... Seer council + sub-munition plate. I actually killed one of them! :

Also killing Gahzkull (SP?), a war-boss and 5 shoota boyz with one template (Gahzkull was already weakened).

I've essentially kiled 2 assault squads and a chaplain with one well aimed pie plate of doom. This was also back in 3rd when you actually had to guess ranges. Perfect guess right on 'ol chappy's head, ghost. His squad, decimated. They were standing on a large bunker with another assault squad. It collapsed. Killed about 5 more (bad save rolls). One squad runs. I do one of these
