Default machine guns-Marines-Lascannons and what ever Else.

When put toghether this is 40K.
I have seen many pepole start playing AKA my friends 8 in a month.
They are adicted to the battle then they love marines then in 5months they'll hate marines and get eldar- Gaurd.
then they'll make a suicide gaurd army with Newbs killing all 2000$ of troops.
Then they'll become tread heads aand branch out to fantsy.

Pepole are always doing the same thing and it's becomeing
INOYING ESPECALY MARINE BASHING.

This article is about pepole getting shaped into rank and file players by sites like this and GW.

Hah, I dont have the funds for anything like that.

I play Tau, Im trigger happy and utterly crazy, works for me.

As for this site forming players into a set mold thats going to happen by the way armies work, but many of the people on this forum support individuality in army lists and uses. GW on the other hand... bloody marine pushing.

The standard trend of new players grabbing marines then moving off to another army may be good for introducing them to the game with a rough and tough army but it gets rather annoying after a while. Killing marine after marine whatever the color of their armor becomes boring before long.

Well everyone should play fantasy, its a much better game. It has a more in depth way of playing you really have to think about what you are doing. My guess is your friends are getting annoyed with the lack of tactical depth in 40K and are playing fntasy instead. (I hope I don't get smited for that)

Oh and its spelt guard.

theres more spelling errors than that.... lol

I'm half inclined not to take this post seriously, but here goes. I notice no such tendency myself. Most of MY friends made a wise, long term decision to play 40k and/or fantasy, and still play with their original army now and again, even the one guy who has about 6. You say you know 8 friends who have all switched and switched again... it happens. 40k is a lifestyle choice not suited for everyone, and if they didn't like 40k, odds are good they're not going to stay for very long in fantasy. But who knows. They might LOVE fantasy. More power to them.

They play all 3 Lotor Fantasy 40K.
They love the game they just keep getting more and more stuff.
All together they have 44 army's.
Also I'm sorry about the spelling the spell check almost never loads right.

Burnout on 40k is quite normal. Trust me- I've been playing this game for 13 years, and have taken breaks from it as long as 20 months at a time.

Burnout was worse in 3rd edition, because all battles seemed to punctuate in long overdrawn close combats. These days it seems to have shifted much more on shooting, and fielding a good mix of armies keeps it entertaining. My brother and I build new armies constantly, and when we're low on funds, we repaint old ones or work on lower priority armies, like my Chaos cultists.

40K is a lifestyle, or a cyclical addiction in my case.

EDIT Your views on this are well known Wargamer and you are entitled to them.* However I think you can do a* bit better job of defending your position this.* This on the other hand was a bit bad even for you.* Removed till you can come up with a better response.* -S
