I wonder if you can make a windshield for a trukk. with the new pot tops.
A what? A windshield? What kind of Ork uses a windshield? A zoggin' panzy humie ork, dat's 'oo!

I bet you could use it for something like that, though it'd be fiddly.

Really with the dropper bottle comments on other websites. its not that hard to pour a little bit of paint out. I want my paint not to go bad and then have to go back to the store and buy more paint to finish painting something.
I use an older brush to scoop some out and use the lid as a palette at the moment, but in future I think I'll be switching to Vallejo. If I don't have a palette on the top of the lid any more, what's the sense in not using a dropper? Good excuse for me to switch over to using a palette like this.

Am I the only one that thinks the wash/foundation/new paints look like tau outhouses that are a little too small.
Great, now I need to find two empty ones and make Tau Portapotties... A vital objective during the Toilet Humour scenario in this month's White Dwarf Viz...

Foundation pots spill more easily because the tops bend back at a larger obtuse angle than the others, the paint spill out of the top, should be into the pot like the others, but hits the rim and goes down the outside.

The new pots are crap :P

Should probably stock up on some of the more unique colours just in case GW uses this as an excuse to cut some of them out.

Vallejo ftw. Pipette style dropper, half the price, same colour ranges and same quality paints!

They are really half the price? Hmmm, I might switch over myself. Price has always been my big complaint over GW paints anyways. I know they are worth it and much better than that $0.99 paint at Wal-Mart, but still...

Another bonus to Vallejo is that they produce a number of now defunct GW colours in their Game Colour range, such as Jade Green, Bronzed Flesh, and Bad Moon Yellow, under different names usually, but easy enough to guess: Jade Green is still Jade Green, but have a guess as to what Bronze Flesh, Bald Moon Yellow, and Cobra Leather are? If your fave colour should vanish when the new pots arrive, this might be for you.

Plus, they produce inks as well as washes, in addition to more varnishes and some Foundationesque paints. Anyone interested in Vallejo paints should take a look at the PDF colour chart off their website.

I got to admit that if Darksphere stocked them I would probably start using them, however unfortunately they do not and for simple ease of purchase I think I will have to be sticking to using the GW ones, although if I do continue painting I may have to.

Darksphere might not, but both gifts for geeks and wayland games stock them. 1.20 a pot.

Jade Green was an awesome colour.

But then the postage would add up if I was to order it form GfG's as a separate order to any models I would be buying.

So you buy your models from there too, being that they offer a 20% discount... Isn't darksphere is 15%?
