All in favor of renaming Warhammer 40k to Space Marines: Their chapters and their enemies, please say aye.

well, I am completely unsurprised that the Smurfs get a movie, I'm just happy that GW is making their own movie, which means it has more of a shot then Damnatus

The Ultramarines are 40k's iconic chapter, I'm not surprised to see them featured as the heroes of the first movie.

Now, what will make me mad is if they are shown to be utterly invincible supermen who fart bolters into the eye sockets of a Broadside suit from 3 miles away. Hopefully, they'll just be beating up Orks or Nids

Meh, Ultramarines. I could care less who the protagonists are; the fact that this is 40k in full-length CGI is awesome enough for me.

I watch this with bated breath. ;D

It would have been far better to do one starting with Guard, perhaps on a world fighting a civil war? Including psykers, mutants, etc. Do a feature length film with them, with them being nearly over-run and a SM chapter coming in in the last 10-20 minutes of the film to save their asses....

Followed by part two, where you start seeing CSM and SM and Renegade Guard and Guard duking it out... with a daemonic breakout due to the CSM at the end with the Inquisition coming in.

Followed by part the third, full daemonic breakout, inclusion of the Grey Knights and Ordo Maleus fighting the daemons to a stand still, and then eliminating them.

That would be bad ass.

Well, no, Siege of Varaks is that all over again, I believe I first started with that idea back in '06.

That, and I would love to see the SoBs in there as well, to get a feel for the forces of the Imperium all together.

You haven't watched Starhsip Troopers Marauder, have you? Thats basically what happens I wish I could find the Starship Troopers 1, that was far better then the sequels .

No, because I've read the book.

I don't need to see the movies, because I know they butcher a great story.
