Hey folks, the date is set for the first ever BoLS Con! Yes, they did name it that and it's pronounced exactly how you think it is. ;D

Anyway, I'll be there as I live in Austin, so let me know if any of you guys will be making the trip and we can meet up for a chat or a game or whatever!

I'm not sure if I'll be playing in the main tournament or not, I might just be hitting up the open gaming on Friday and maybe the 40k team-tourney Saturday. Maybe getting in on some Apocalypse mega battles as well. There's going to be so much to do I haven't really planned everything out just yet.

So let's hear if you guys might make it, or if you like the idea but can't or just what you think about indie GTs in general. The floor is yours.

I'm interested in attending. I live in the DFW area so no too far. If I'm not swamped I'll probably attend & will probably see if anyone from my group would come too. I'm currently scratch building some stuff & converting other things. Hmm I'll see what I can put together before heading down there.

You say they set the date, but I don't see any date? :P

Also, I'm curious where I can get more information in general. The dates, events, possible fees for tournaments and such? I've never been a member of BoLS so I don't really know where to look.

I'm an idiot and didn't link the announcement before. : It's linked the the main post now. It's officially August 22nd-23rd for the main events, but Friday the 21st is open gaming all day!

And the states are a very very long way away. Although, I always wanted to go to Texas...because I love King of the Hill.

I'm just happy as there's a Warhammer con nearby. I'd love to go to a Gamesday but nothing near TX.

Well, being only 16 I kind of rely on my parents for transportation, but my family has been planning for a summer vacation to Austin even before this tournament came up. Looks like I might be making the open gaming on the 21st, at the very least. ;D
