Default RoB gaming table pics?

Has anyone got any pictures and facts for this "battlefield in a bag"...

I've heard so much about it, but never what it contains or anything...

PS: If it's against board rules to do this... sorry mods...

They were showing how they could be used, though Colin Grayson's HUGE Orky gun thing dominated the area and you could be forgotten that they were trying to demonstrate the scenery.

How the tile looks.

You can place the gaming hills on top if you so wish.

They cost 100 and come with a bag.

They will be available with other scenery in packs costing up to 234 if you so wish.

Available in mid-November, just in time for the Christmas rush!

It's a nice concept, but I think the 100 pound pricetag is going to drive off all but the most die hard gamers. Especially when you consider the glorious cheapness of styrofoam and duct tape

Yea looks nice but gotta agree with Fish Ead there 100GPD is a bit steep. Its just as easy to set up on the kitchen table or even the floor if ya keen and use some makeshift scenery from around the house.

Cheers Steve

Interesting concept, with all the built in hills that you can easily change where on the field they are.

But way too expensive, they should've made them hollow to cut back on costs or something.

Here's some stuff from BoLS:

Quote:
The Modular Game Board previewed at UK Games Day last weekend is now available for pre-order at US Games Workshop stores. The release date currently posted in GW stores is November 29 and the cost is $175.00. The set consists of six 2'X2' hard polystyrene sections. These are sturdy like the plastic hills currently sold by GW. The set is somewhat geomorphic so that the tiles can be rearranged in various configurations. If you're not near a GW store or independent store that will carry this, you might want to keep your eyes on the GW online store Advance Order page for more information as this item will surely appear there soon.
It seems it will be chaper for Americans, but still expensive. If it was far less, I would seriously consider it. :-\

And here's the link to a better pic:

Yes, it's GW. Apparently it's made of the same hard plastic as the current Citadel hills. They lock together on the underside.

Sounds good. Is there anything official on the GW site about this? Will it be availible at the local GW shop?
