Wait, $25 for C:SM? What's that about?

$30 drop pods, that's not bad. You can make any land raider variant for $50, also nice. Scout bikes seem cheap. The thunderfire cannons looks a little expensive though, I wouldn't really buy one for $35.

The current hordes of Chaos army book is bigger than most army books, and costs the same as all the others.

Though a quick conversion on my phone suggests it's only a pound 50 more expensive than current dex's, so here's bettign it'll be £15 to make it a nice round number...

Actually you guys might be overthinking it

with the new $25 price on the codex ($3 increase) I bet that every single codex from now on will be $25, as they will be "5th edition style" and will probably be bigger and cover more on the hobby side of owning said army.

Gw overall seems to be giving "more" for less in the box sets lately, especially the plastic kits.

I think they want more players, and more people to own several armies, or to just buy a random box set because they think that it would be cool to put together and paint, even without the intention of ever playing that army.

I personally like the way which things are going with the company, and as for these release I am especially a big fan of tech marines (formerly running a SCION OF MARS chapter) and i hope the adaptas astrates have a strong showing in the new SM codex - HQ techmarine please! ;D

Sounds like BS to me. If that's the case then I expect full color and at least 150 pages for each race, not just the freaking Space Marines. I don't know why other companies can put out full color rulebooks for less money than GW can put out in black and white...
