Oh. I'm totally not excited about these. Couldn't they have put their time in to making something else more productive?

But seriously, a Guardsman, I'm willing to bet, could a) outshoot me, b) give me the beating of my life, and c) shove more squad-based tactics down my throat than I'd ever care to digest. Guard are hard, hard men. Whether or not GW's inconsistent, Marine-worshipping fluff keeps with that, mkay?

Exactly... I mean who is going to buy these. Maybe someone starting up, but they will very soon realize the savings (and better models) of buying the regular pack.

actually the chaos one gives the models at the cheapest price but they do not have the options. Which is awkward. so if you want to add marines to your havoc squad you can spend $16 for 6 models instead of $20 for 5 models if you only care about the game. They could make good door prises at a tournament or something.

That's the exact same problem I have with the current Cadian guardsmen. They aren't really doing anything other than "run with gun and scowl".
