http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefr...6012&orignav=9

round base, newly painted as behemoth colours. looks like this is added to stay? are they re-releasing the classic models now as full kits/blisters insteed of component order? if it is so, i will be dancing in joy and happiness

Wow, those look really look like Chestbursters from 'Alien' series.

Nice find.

Bleh, I like the new ones more.

But, how likely do you think it is for GW to bring back old models like this? Unless it's one of those, uh, "stealth hikes". That's one way to make money...I know I'd buy more Stormtroopers over Kaskrin.

those wasnt avaible before, brining them back like this must be a sign for them to stay, i mean why else do it? im not sure yet if theres more old models to come, i just know that the red terror and old one eye stays and the death leaper is moved to the collectors along with old one and terror

Instead of single parts ordering, they're doing 'batches' of each part, so like packs of helmets and shoulder pads etc, so insted of buying just one ripper you'll have to buy a base full :P

probably. i hope they do the same with more oldschool nids, because im interested in the models and not their bitz

btw, the rippers are on troops and not the nid collectors section. this probably means they are a option for those who don't want to but gaunts or warriors to get their rippers

Has anyone gottentheir hands on the 2008 ordering catalog? There are a lot of classic models that are back in the main range. Off the top of my head I can name the original Tau Etereals and XV15s, the old Scarab swarms, and Dark Eldar Grotesques. If they are bringing them back, all the better. The classic stuff has a lot of character.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

I somewhat like the old rippers, one of the stores I go to have some of the old rippers. (Not the squigs. Nor Zoats... Though saying "Zoat" is fairly amusing.)
